The City Smiles difference

Here at City Smiles in Melbourne we pride ourselves on providing 100% Australian-made restorations which ensures that we not only adhere to the Australian standards but that we support our Australian industries also. At City Smiles we believe in educating our patients first and foremost, this help patients understand the treatment and procedure before opting for treatment. Implant treatment can be extremely complex which is why we aim to provide our patients with the knowledge they need to feel comfortable about their treatment.

Temporary All-on-4 Solutions

Once the surgical phase of your full arch restoration is complete, the provisional or interim All-on-4 phase begins. If the surgeon has decided on immediate loading of the implant, then a fixed provisional full arch restoration will be fitted within 1-3 days after surgery. If a two stage approach has been chosen, the patient will use their existing or new denture for a period of 3-6 months. It’s important to acknowledge that this is a temporary stage and your provisional restoration will need to be replaced. At City Smiles we believe in providing long term solutions and this is why we recommend a definitive restoration after you have finished your interim phase. The provisional phase includes an impression phase, try-in phase and provisional fit phase.

Permanent All-on-4 Solutions

Once we have checked the osseointegration of the implants the definitive phase can begin. The framework is chosen depending on the surgical placement/patient needs. The definitive phase includes an impression phase, verification/try-in phase, design and production, final insert and maintenance phase.
